The effects of the Indy gear hobby on Indy IV

With the technology of the internet we have found a great amount of knowledge. Some knowledge we're interested in though is the props, equipment, and clothing of a fictional archaeologist created in the 1980's. The information gained has been great, and resources are now at our fingertips to obtain what was once unobtainable. Now all of this begs the question, what sort of outcome or affect will all of this have on the next Indy film? There are all sorts of different options for hats, jackets, etc. etc. etc. Will Jones don a Flighsuits jacket as opose to a Wested? A Lee Kepler or Peter Brothers fedora? What about the Alden boots? They come in a lighter color now! Will Indy have lighter boots, different boots entirely, or can the film industry get Alden to produce the darker ones again? In every film, Indy's gear setup was slightly different. All the people who have contributed to the development and knowlege of Gear may be powerfull people in the outcome of the next film's costume. Any thoughts?
