Hard to say. Connery at least has pretty well stayed in the spotlight, and unlike Ford, never fell off radar between films, so everyone knew who he was. Ford, on the other hand, hasn't been seen in to much in recent years (though he's currently involved in a film project regarding the assassination of President Lincoln). So, unless he stays in the public eye, I'm not sure how he'll be accepted, as the 'younger generation' will not connect him with the first three movies as readily. Just my thought on the subject at the moment.
