Look. Here's the Indiana Jones formula in 5 easy steps:

1)Action packed into.
2)Main quest presented to Indy and artifact introduced.
3)Indy takes up the quest meets and takes a woman on said quest, adventures, finds artifact, falls down, blows stuff up and saves the day.
5)Indy learns something of value in the end.

We laugh, we cry, we cheer and go home happy. What's the big deal? It's worked 3 times already to great success, and I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work out again! Damn.
