      Could the timing of this announcement have had anything to do with the timing of George Lucas' Grand Marshal duties?

      Anyway, don't forget to watch and/or record the Tournament of Roses parade - and don't forget to have yourselves an Indiana Jones movie marathon before the three-day New Year's weekend is over.
