It's the name of a cool poker player in the old west. It was a TV series back in the 60's or so. It got made into a major movie starring Mel Gibson as Bret Maverick (whom I am named after). Now, I've only seen the movie, not the TV series. But Bret Maverick is a really cool and funny guy, and I was tired of the Yasim part in my name, so I decided to go for something that fits better with my name.
