Chapter 4
The clinic0Ö
Shorty and Aragorn were lying in medical bunks. Goodsport came to Shortyís bunk.
ìHey Shorty.î Goodsport said. ìLong time no see.î
ìHey dudeÖî Shorty mumbled. ìWhat happened in that war zone? That explosion was huge!î
ìBrett hacked into the computers at the base and put it on self-destruct mode.î Goodsport replied.
ìYou should have seen what happened,î Shorty began. ìWhen I was lying on the ground and weak, Sauron appeared to me and gave me this talk about the Lambertís beingÖî
ìBeing what?î Goodsport asked.
ìMy brothersÖî Shorty said.
ìOh.î Goodsport said. ìWell Sauron is like that. Twisted and evil. Donít believe everything he says.î
ìDude, whatís wrong?î Shorty asked. ìYou look scared or something.î
ìWell when I was in that huge Drill Station, Sauron was there in human form. When that battle station blew up, I knew it wasnít the end of him. Something tells me heís still alive!î Goodsport declared.
ìI see.î Shorty said.
ìIím here you know.î A voice said a few feet away from Shortyís medical bunk.
They seen Aragorn awake in his bunk, his leg in a cast.
ìHi Aragorn.î Goodsport said as he walked to Aragornís bunk. ìLong time no see, old buddy.î
ìRight.î Aragorn said. ìItís been three years. Whatís been going on, bud?î
ìOr should that be, whatís been going down.î Goodsport replied. ìIn the giant Drill Base, Sauron was there.î
ìBut the place exploded.î Aragorn declared. ìHe couldnít possiblyñì
ìHe did!î Goodsport interrupted. ìI know heís still alive, I can feel it!î
Goodsport walked out of the room.
ìWhatís with him?î Aragorn asked.
ìHeís troubled with this Sauron thing.î Shorty replied. ìHeíll get over it. Heís just pissed.î
ìHey McFly!î A voice boomed from the entrance of the room.
Shorty and Aragorn looked at the entrance in unison as if the person was calling them. The Lambertís came walking to them.
ìHey!î Shorty said. ìIf it isnít the Big J! Howís hanging James.î
ìGood, Short Rounder! Or should I say Buttround?î James replied. ìHow about yourself bud?î
ìGoodñ Oh McFly your shoes untied!î Shorty pointed out.
As James looked down, Shorty gave him a buddy slap to the face. They chuckled.
ìDonít be so gullible McFly!î Shorty exclaimed.
ìSo Shorty, when you gonna be out of this place?î Brett spoke up.
ìIn a couple of daysÖî Shorty replied.

A couple of days laterÖ
Shorty was beside the medical bunk putting on his leather jacket similar to the one Marty wore in Back to the Future II. He was also wearing his favorite green jeans. James was beside him waiting for his to gather his stuff.
ìShorty, are you sure we should be doing this?î James asked. ìI mean, this could turn out to be another war.î
ìBetween who?î Shorty replied. ìTwo people against a million dead people?î
Shorty gave a chuckle.

James flew the plane to the exact location where they sky dived to the battle zone.
ìThere it is James!î Shorty yelled over the sound of the engine. ìLetís land where we landed when we sky dived. Thatís close enough to where to base was.î
Jamed went down swiftly cutting through the clouds and then onto the ground. Shorty and James got out and surveyed the destroyed land. The air force base was barely able to make out. Scorched bones lie everywhere. The ground was burnt like a crisp! Shorty pointed out where the base was when it exploded. The base was still in the giant hole in the ground that it came from. James and Shorty ran over to where it was.
ìWould you look at that!î James exclaimed.
ìYeah!î Shorty said.
ìThis is heavy!î They both said in unison.
Shorty ran back to the plane.
ìShorty!î James yelled. ìWhere you going?î
ìIím going to get Andrew!î Shorty replied back.
A few minutes later, Shorty ran back carrying a heavy box.
ìLet me help you with that.î James said as he grabbed the other end.
They moved it to the hole and threw it in the huge hole. They jumped in. The hole was like a ditch the size of a football field. It was in the shape of a giant pool without water. There had been a hole in the side of it where the base moved before coming up above to regular land. They moved their way to the giant tunnel on the side of the hole, carrying the box with them. They set it down.
ìThere we go.î James sighed.
James sat on top of the box for a few minutes regaining his strength. Shorty sat on the edge of it.
ìJames.î Shorty said.
ìYeah?î James replied.
ìItís a good thing weíre alone.î Shorty started. ìThere been something I wanted to talk to you about. On the battleground here a few days ago when the missile hit the ground behind me and plummeted me forward and I was badly injured. I donít know if this was a hallucination or what, but Sauron appeared to meÖî
ìI guess Goodsport hasnít gone crazy after all.î James commented.
ìÖand he said something about you being my brother.î Shorty ended.
James put his head up in shock.
ìYou donít think he can beÖî James was interrupted.
ìI donít know.î Shorty said. ìBut he would have no reason to haunt me with that. It donít put fear or anger in me. Itís possible he could be right. What do you think?î
ìLetís get Andrew out of this box and do what we came here for.î James said as he got up.
Shorty was quiet for a minute and then he got up and helped James open up the box. They pulled out what looked like a three foot robotic spider. They set it at the entrance of the tunnel.
ìWell return tomorrow, James.î Shorty said. ìCome on letís go.î
They walked off and climbed the ruins of the station back to the top and on surface. They went to the plane which took offÖ

The next dayÖ
The plane soared through the sky above the clouds. James and Short Round had a small computer monitor in front of them with a map, a red line continuing from where they left Andrew in the tunnel.
ìOk, so the little guy did some progress last night.î Shorty said. ìAll we got to do is follow the line where he went and weíll see where the baseís last stop was before he ended up at the air force base. It will be a big lead!î
They had placed Andrew, the little robot in the tunnel which had a homing beacon on him to go through the tunnel so they can find out where the base had last been.

Sauron, General Phaceon, and Supreme Commander Spaltic stood on the outside of the mountain. The mountain started to open and what came out was half the size of the Drill Base. It looked to be a giant landing pad with small command towers around it. It was a hovering base! They walked into the mountain. They seen another hovering device.
ìWhat is this?î Spaltic asked.
ìItís the cloning machine!î Sauron replied.

It was evening, the cloning machine was latched onto the other giant device that came out of the mountain. It had took days for Spalticís men to open up the mountain which Sauron was the gatekeeper to. Sauron had kept the DWOís equipment long ago. Now it was in the right hands. The first device which they had brought out was a floating base, similar to the Drill Base. It had never been used since Nobodyís death. He left Spaltic with the Drill Base. Now a new and more powerful base was in his hands. The small, man made hole in the mountain to the room where Spaltic and General Phaceon first met Sauron was not too far away from the bigger entrance they just opened.

The plane was landed. After flying for hours, Shorty and James had to still sleep. A noise and a bright light woke them up out of a sound sleep! They got out of the plane and seen a titanic flying object in the air above them which covered the surrounding area around them! Itís vibrating sound boomed throughout the land.
ìThis is heavy!î They both said in unison.

The next morningÖ
They were up and flying again. They came to a huge mountain! They then landed near the open mounain.
At the entranceÖ
ìThis is cool!î Shorty exclaimed.
ìYou're not kidding buddy!î James said.
They walked into the giant place. It was all empty, but they knew there had to have been something in it way before. Walking out, they noticed another entrance to the mountain.
ìLetís check this out.î James said as he ran to it.
They walked into the smaller entrance. They noticed ancient writings and such on the walls.
ìI wonder what these mean.î Shorty said.
ìSo do I.î James backed up.
They found there selves to a small room. It was dim and had bean bag like pillows that acted as chairs in the room. There were also candles in the room.
ìThis place is beginning to give me the creeps!î James said.
ìYeah,î Shorty said. ìLetís get out of here.î

They came out of the mountain to their plane.
ìWait, Shorty.î James said. ìLook, another tunnel within the hole.î
Shorty looked to see it. There was two.
ìWell do you think we should follow that one too?î Shorty asked.
ìOf course. But Instead letís put Andrew in it and let him go a few yards so we can see what direction itís in. If the drill base went through there, then it wouldnít have to make any turns.î James said.
ìWhat do you mean?î Shorty asked.
ìWell why would it have to make any turns? It goes straight from one place to another unlike a road where you have twists and turns.î
ìI get it!î Shorty said.
Later after letting Andrew go a few yards to get the direction of where the tunnel lead to, they were offÖ

Hours laterÖ
They soared over a camp-like place. There was a storage house and all there. Suddenly, all they needed happenedñThey ran out of fuel!
