What does it take to get a novel published? Hm. You have to write,
write, and write, and keep writing, and thoroughly BELIEVE that you
will get published. Meanwhile, enjoy the writing, and make sacrifices,
if you have to, in order to create more time to write. I sold the
first novel I wrote (Crystal Skull) to Ballantine Books, but it was only after I completely re-wrote it twice. I spent about three years doing it. Hope that helps.
