I for one, believe that this is a very good way to end the Tessa story. It's short, just like the first chapter, and
it leaves the ending and the interpretation to the reader. Tessa could have just dreamed it all, or maybe it did happen, and now she's off on another flight, a couple years later.
It's just how the reader sees it. So, I think it is an excellent way to have it end. Bravo or Brava to the writer.
