Remnant's of the Dark World Order chapter 23.

Chapter 23
Short and Jayne were each on the far side of the bed, sound a sleep. Jayne kept on complaining how Shorty grinds his teeth and kicks in his sleep. Short woke up in the middle of the night and walked to the chair near the table. A few objects on the table really got to him for some reason. He took the cob webs off them and blew the dust off. He gasped in surprise as he seen hands guns aligning the table!
ìThis is heavy!î He exclaimed.
He picked one up and looked at a carving in them which read ëAragorn M. W.í
ìAragornís! Wait a minute! This is where he was held hostage by the fiddler!î Shorty said.
He then heard gun shots coming from outside. Jayne woke up.
ìWhatís going on?î She lazily exclaimed.
ìIíll check it out.î Shorty said as he took a clip with him and a gun.
He ran outside and to the way of the studio.

Giacomo hid behind the stacks of tapes, reels, and scripts. He shot which made Brett and Indy hide behind one of the stacks. Giacomo shot again and it came through a reel. Brett looked at it.
ìYou shot E.T. you bastard!î Brett yelled as he came from behind the stacks and shot ferociously at Giacomo. Giacomo hid behind a stack again. Coming out, he shot at Brett! Brett jumped off the balcony out of reaction! He reached back and grabbed onto the railing which broke! He fell down and landed with not as much impact as James who was now getting up. He ran to James and helped him up. James groaned in pain as him and his brother ran to the downstairs stacks! Giacomo shot again hitting the stacks ahead of them! Brett pushed James and him down as bullets flew over-head. He helped James farther behind the stacks.
ìThanks!î James said.
ìAnytime!î Brett replied. ìI got bad news. The bastard killed the E.T. movie reel!î
ìNo really?î James said in shock.
ìYes!î Brett said, a tear forming in his eye.

Shorty crept along the side of LambertFilm Studios with his gun in the ready. He came to a side door which led to the archives room. As he put his hand on the door knob, a few bullets came through the window on the top of the door! Shorty ducked as more came through the door where he just was! He got up and looked up at the roof ñ He had a good idea how to drop in the party.

Shorty ran and jumped onto a ladder for construction workers up to the top of the building. He ran across the roof to a glass dome. He ran and jump over it, firing his gun as he jumped into it! Bullets riveted the stacks where Giacomo was hiding behind! Shorty landed on the balcony and fired at Giacomo! He hit the stacks a few inches from his head! Giacomo ran deeper into the stacks. He ran around to the other one! Shorty tried to beat him and started shooting! Giacomo ducked, and ran around the other one! Shorty tried to beat him and started shooting again. Giacomo this time jumped and dodged each shot. He got up and started running to one of the doors. Giacomo was walking into a trap. Shorty could be him and cut him off from the first floor. He ran and jumped onto the first floor. He turned to see his two brothers crying near the stacks. He ignored them and went through a doorway below. He ran as fast as he could through the corridor. He turned a corner. He seen Giacomo running down the balcony above. He went along the wall and in front of the small stair case. Giacomo came running down the staircase and was now face to face with Short Round! Short put his gun up to Giacomoís face.

Brett and James stopped mourning over E.T. and jumped up in fright as they heard a gun shot. They both got up and ran to where it came from.

Indy ran along the balcony trying to find Giacomo.

The Lambertís ran along the wall near the balcony and went to a small staircase to see body laying on the floor ñ Shortyís.

Jayne got up and put on her jacket. As she was, she looked at her engagement ring and blushed. She ran outside.

Goodsport, Aragorn, Meg, Alice, Ulla, Jerico, Mike, Ben, Ben(Friend of Indy), Micah, Michaelson, and Zamir came running towards them. They all looked in shock. Jayne suddenly came through one of the doors and moved her way through the crowd. She seen Shorty and almost collapsed! James couldnít feel pain aching in his back as his adrenaline rushed. Suddenly from behind another gunshot came and shot Aragorn down!
ìThat was for the plane ride!î Giacomo said. ìNow everyone, put your hands up in the air where I can see them!î
They all put their hands up. Michaelson did it really slowly when suddenly out of the bottom of his sleeve, a dart shot out and stuck into Giacomoís neck! He fell down and fainted as the tranquilizer knocked him out instantly.
ìHow theÖî Escaped Jamesí mouth. ìWho fired that?î
ìI did.î Michaelson said. ìIt was a little gadget I was given while on a top secret mission to Drax Industries.î
ìCool.î James replied.
ìWhat are we waiting for?î Brett spoke up. ìShorty and Aragorn need help!î
