Chapter 13
The car was flooding with water fast as Indy took charge, "Get out of the car and swim to the surface."
They all did what they were told. When they surfaced, Shorty looked at Indy and said, "They're gone, Doctor Jones. What we going to do?"
"Dad, they mentioned the lost city," Michael said, "Does London have an underground city?"
"The only thing they have is a cavern where people worshipped Catholicism," Indy replied, "But that was over four hundred years ago."
"Where would it be?" Eric asked.
"I'm not sure," as they swam towards the shoreline, "But first we get out of the water and dry off at the hotel."
"What about Lauren, Doctor Jones?" Shorty asked.
"Lauren can take care of herself for now, but we need to know where the underground cavern is at. That's where they might be."

Lauren looked at Anthony lying in a cot, recovering from his injury. Lauren kicked a stone on the ground and heard,
"Miss Jones, enjoying your stay?"
Lauren looked up and saw both Patrick and Joey standing there, and said,
"I'm having the time of my life," sarcastically.
"How come a girl like you is so dangerous?" Joey said.
"Must be in the genes," she quipped.
Joey laughed and said, "You are the last of your kind, Miss Jones."
What did he mean by that?, Lauren wondered as Patrick said, "Your family and your friend are sitting down in Davy Jones locker. A relative of yours?"
Lauren's eyes widened and said, "You bastards!" as she swung a fist at Joey. He held her fist in his hand and said,
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Miss Jones," as he flung her onto the floor.
"What do you want?" she said.
"A little assistance," he said, taking out a cigarette and lighting it, "Do you want one?"
"Get to the point," roughly.
"I understand, like your friend here, that you have an adverse knowledge of archeology."
Lauren stared emotionless at him and said; "From what I read you have knowledge of the Arthurian Legend."
"My father read those stories to me when I was kid," she said softly, "Especially about the Holy Grail and Excalibur."
"The Holy Grail, as you probably known, was first sought out by your grandfather and father about thirty-four years ago. But the temple collapsed, keeping the Grail in its hiding place."
"You want me to help you find the Grail?" she asked in surprise.
"No," Patrick said roughly, "We want you to find Excalibur, the fabled sword of King Arthur."
