As a writer myself (Not professionally, doesn't pay the bills), I'd say this is a good attempt of an Indiana Jones atory. You've got me curious about what happens next and that's exactly what you're supposed to do in your first three or four chapters). Keep it up and comment on how my story is progressing too. I'm a bit self-conscious about my writing myself and it seems the current novel is not progressing as well as I had hope.
