Hey, I'm a little shy on this post because this is the first time I'm contributing a poem. Hope I can actually post a poem here. It's the first poem I've ever written on Indy so umm...don't laugh, okay? It doesn't rhyme but it comes straight from my heart. Please give me a try on this one! It may sound a little weird though. After all, for me, this is a first. Here it goes:*ahem*

The Burning by Indiana Jayne
The stars shine heavenly down on him.,
A hero he stands fearless yet soft,
The gentle hazel eyes filled with care,
Stares straight ahead but glimpses back,
His heart is pure and strong,
His hands are rough and blistered,
His feet are sore and painful,
Yet he keeps running and running,
No matter how much it hurts,
He'd sacrifice everything,
Just to be there.

He could bulid castles that touched the sky,
But he is chained to the ground,
He believes and his faith is ever powerful,
You could be a snake and he'll still care,
You could be him and he'll lead you there,
You could be anyone or anything,
He still sees you,
And he'll always will.

The fire is bright and blazing,
A frightened dame looks up from the flames,
She sees hope from a knight of the pure,
Then, all the fear diappears,
He assures her and puts faith in her hands,
She holds tight and he carries her spirit,
Out of the dark forces.

They are out and alive,
She embraces his courage,
He embraces her insecurity,
And turns them into diamonds,
She gazes into his loving eyes,
Unleashing her ever flowing gratitude,
He accepts but his silence wished for a mystery that shrouds,
She's thankful,
He's fallen into her open arms,
Even though he has not.

He stares straight ahead but his heart is back with her,
She takes his hands in hers and slowly, he turns around.

It sucks, doesn't it? What do you people REALLY, REALLY think?
