Women didn't wear jeans then (only a few women even wore pants at all - most wore dresses or skirts)... even men didn't wear jeans then (except probably for miners, and the denim pants they wore were quite different from what we know as jeans today). Jeans as we know it only started to be sold to the public in the 1950's (maybe late 1940's). "D
