: I enjoyed the fact of old Indy in the story but I got disenchanted when his 'extended family' came in. I know I'm going to get flamed big time for this but I feel it wasn't one bit canon. I mean, that was something that Tessa purely made up and it I think it would have been cooler to see old Short Round and Sallah than 'made-up' characters. That was one reason why I didn't include Indy in any of my chapters.

As that '.' person pointed out, Old Indy was introduced into the story at the very end of Chapter 37. The first reference to one of Tessa's 'Indy family' members was at the very end of Chapter 46 (when Old Indy pulls out that picture from his wallet). It was only after Chapter 46 that Tessa started introducing other members of that Indy family, but between Chapters 38-46 that left about nine full chapters that there was no Indy family in the story... yet most of the authors still ignored the fact that Old Indy was in the story as if he was never there. As a matter of fact, the original version of Chapter 38 which followed Old Indy's introduction (you probably know who wrote that chapter ;) ) had no mention of Old Indy at all even though it talks about Aragorn (who was driving the car that he, Goodsport and Old Indy were in) - it took a rewritten Chapter 38 (rewritten by a certain author ;) ) to even acknowledge that Old Indy (and Goodsport, for that matter) even existed. :(

So that 'Indy family' excuse doesn't hold much water in the first several chapters with Old Indy. :(
