Chapter 1 - A Long Day In Coming

---by Indiana Jayne

Indiana Jayne rushed to her room and locked the door. A big grin was plastered across her face. In her hand was her very own Indiana Jones Fedora! Her heart was beating rapidly. Indiana Jayne thought this moment would never come. She had always longed for the Indiana Jones trademark fedora. She saved every penny she had, hoping one day that she could afford to buy one. Now her dream had come true.

Indiana Jayne stood in front of her mirror and looked at her reflection. Short black hair, big dark brown eyes and a wide smile was what she saw. Yup! Indiana Jayne was a pure fourteen year old Chinese Malaysian. Then she tried the hat on and saw nothing but pure blackness. Indiana Jayne sighed. The Fedora was too big… her eyes were totally covered!

When she removed the hat from her head, she almost had a heart attack! She was no longer looking at her reflection. She was no longer in her room nor in Malaysia. She was inside a moving truck! She scanned the truck. There was a crate next to her. Suddenly, a gunshot was heard. Indiana Jayne almost jumped out of her skin. She looked to her right and saw two men dressed in white Arabian robes peering out of the truck shooting at something. Indiana Jayne closed her eyes. This is a dream. Play along, she told herself. Feeling a little braver, she crawled towards the men and pushed herself between them.

"Okay boys, what are we looking at?" asked Indiana Jayne in her best impersonation of a military officer. She chuckled, but then stopped. Right on their tail was a man on a horse, dressed in a Fedora, with a whip sticking out of his left pocket. He was shooting back at them, Indiana Jayne gasped. Who else could that man be if not Harrison Ford dressed like her idol, Indiana Jones?

"By golly!" exclaimed Indiana Jayne, "Maybe I'm in the Indiana Jones filming set!" Then she shouted to him, "Hey Harrison! Can I have your autograph after this?"

Everybody looked at Indiana Jayne with puzzled expressions. "How did this brat get here?" asked one of the men angrily.

"Maybe she's one of them. Look at her clothes!" replied the other man. Indiana Jayne looked down at her T-shirt and jeans. Everything seemed fine. Suddenly something hard hit her on the back of her skull. Indiana Jayne felt dizzily and collapsed. She lay unconscious.

Chapter 2 - Encounters

---by Indiana Jayne

Indiana Jayne felt pain all over. She tried opening her eyes, but it was so hard.

"Keep fanning her, Deirdre! She's coming around!" said one voice.

"She has to be one of us. She's wearing Nikes," said another. Indiana Jayne opened her eyes. It was blur at first, but then it cleared up. There were people around her. They all looked down at her with concern.

"Hi, my name is Deirdre. What's yours?" asked the girl who was using Indiana Jayne's fedora to fan her. Deirdre. The name sounded familiar.

"I'm Indiana Jayne. Have we met?" Indiana Jayne managed to choke out.

Just then, a guy with dirty-blond hair came into sight and said, "Hello, Indiana Jayne. I'm Goodsport. And yes, we all have met." He looked at all the others and continued, "We're from the Indyfan Forum."

Indiana Jayne stood up and she realized that they were all locked up in some sort of cell. "I wonder what my brain's trying to tell me. This is really weird. Maybe it's time I woke up now and stop this twisted dream," said Indiana Jayne.

"No, Indiana Jayne. This is not a dream. This is real. What you saw was real," said a serious Deirdre.

Chapter 3 - "If This Is The Rabbit Hole… Where's The Rabbit?"

---by Deirdre Campbell

Faint light filtered in through the small window (with Swedish curtains) high in the wall of the small cell where everyone was jammed in.

Indiana Jayne stared stupefied at Deirdre. "Real?" she echoed. She tried sitting up but her head hurt like hell. "W-what hit me?" She touched the back of her head gingerly and felt a small lump protruding. Ouch!

Deirdre raised an amused eyebrow and gave Goodsport a mocking look. He smiled back lopsidedly. "Hm. Indiana Jayne. So-so..."

    "Why? Is som-- OUCH!"

"Here let me help you sit up" Carefully, Goodsport lifted Jayne's lithe body and let her rest against the cold stonewall. She thanked him.

"I'm confused. What am I doing here?!"

Deirdre put a contemplative hand on her chin and gave her a pondering look. "Seems like you stumbled upon the portal, my dear." She pushed back her wire-framed glasses and continued pacing around the room in consternation. "You see, what happened is this..."

Just then footsteps were audible outside their cell. Two unsmiling men in uniform appeared outside their cell; in their midst, a struggling male figure appeared to be in a very irate mood.

One of the guards unlocked the door, muttering something to his companion."Stoss ihn rein mit den anderen Verrueckten."

Laughing heinously the guard kicked the body into the room. The figure flew to the ground, cursing ostentatiously.

Goodsport and the others didn't move as they watched the young man struggle to his feet and run to the already locked door and rattle on the bars. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS ASSHOLES!. I DEMAND AN EXPLAINATION FOR THIS!!! I DEMAND TO TALK TO MY LAWYER! HEY! WHERE YOU GOING?!"

No one answered. Audibly the clicking sound of their boots faded into the distance.

"Indy?" Deirdre's voice cut into the silence.

    Slowly the figure turned around...

Chapter 4 - Curiouser and Curiouser

---by Indiana Jayne

    "Indy?" Deirdre repeated.

    "Harrison?" Indiana Jayne asked.

"Dad?" Goodsport guessed. Everybody stared at Goodsport. "Uh… well, it was worth a shot, wasn't it?" Goodsport shrugged and smiled sheepishly.

"You," the Indiana Jones (or Harrison Ford lookalike) pointed at Deirdre. "How did you know my name?"

"You mean… you mean that you're Indiana Jones? Henry Jones? Junior?" stammered Indiana Jayne, who was obviously pale with shock. Deirdre and Goodsport held onto Indiana Jayne in case she passed out.

Indiana Jones nodded at all the names but cringed at the last one. "How did you kids get here?" he asked.

"Deirdre here says that we stepped in some kind of portal that transported us here. Wherever this place is," explained Goodsport.

"Portal?" Indiana Jones looked as if he didn't understand English.

"What year is it, Dr. Jones?" Deirdre asked.

"1936," Indiana Jones answered, looking even more puzzled.

"Oh, great. We've just traveled 63 years back. What next? A trip to hell?" Deirdre asked sarcastically.

Just then, they heard voices outside their cell and the sound of the cell lock being opened. Then a stout figure dressed in cargo pants and a half-buttoned shirt stepped in. He wore a hat which shaded most of his curly red hair. "Ah, Indiana Jones and the children from the future!" he said with a cynical smile.

Indiana Jones turned to Deirdre and said, "You were close." Then, all of them turned to face the figure.

"Belloq? Hah! What happened to your hair? Bleached it in tomato sauce?" laughed Indiana Jones. Deirdre, Goodsport and Indiana Jayne laughed along too.

Belloq's smile faded. "What's wrong if somebody cares about his appearance? Unlike you, Indy."

"Uh, no thanks, Belloq," Indiana Jones grinned and winked at the rest.

"Enough," Belloq said through gritted teeth and gave an order to the German soldiers in German. The soldiers rushed into the cell and grabbed hold of Indiana Jones, Deirdre, Goodsport and Indiana Jayne.

"Hey, easy with the Fedora, you Nazi!" Indiana Jayne said to a soldier who snatched the Fedora from her hands.

"Hush, girl. Be silent, because that's how all of you will be when you meet my friend, Mr. Steel," Belloq reached into his pocket and took out a gun.

Indiana Jayne gulped and exchanged glances with Deirdre and Goodsport. Now what?

Chapter 5 - The Rush Is On

---by Goodsport

As the German guards were holding Indiana Jones, Goodsport, Indiana Jayne and Deirdre, Goodsport glanced to the back of the room.

"Well?!? Aren't you guys going to do anything???" Goodsport exclaimed.

"What do you want us to do?" asked Indiana Jerico angrily, sitting on the floor. Sitting next to him were The Man with the Hat, Tessa, the Lambert brothers, the Fiddler, Mack, Muppet, Krede, Indy, Meg, Kate, Michaelson and Micah, who all nodded in agreement with Indiana Jerico.

The distraction of the conversation was just enough for Indiana Jones to body-slam the German guard holding him into the other German guards, knocking them all to the wall. The momentum of the bumped guards had thrown Deirdre, Indiana Jayne and Goodsport to the floor.

Belloq fired his gun once but missed, trying to avoid being slammed into the wall by the oncoming guards. Belloq pointed his gun straight at Indiana Jones.

"This time, there will be no escape!" Belloq bellowed at the archeologist.

    * THUD *

The gun flew from Belloq's hand as his body crumpled to the floor.

"Nice going, man!" Goodsport said to Indyfan Short Round, standing over Belloq's body with a wooden board in his hands.

"No problem," Shorty answered, "the other Short Round is on the surface, hot-wiring a truck… I think."

Deirdre adjusted her wire-rimmed glasses. "Did the other soldiers see you guys?"

    "Not yet," Short Round retorted.

"Come on!" Indiana Jones commanded, as he picked up Belloq's gun and dashed out of the room.

Goodsport glanced to the back of the room again, clearly irritated. "Thanks for the silence this whole time, people!"

"What do you mean?" chimed Brett and James Lambert in unison, "We were all giving you guys moral support!"

Goodsport rolled his eyes and followed the professor out the door. The rest followed.

As they all carefully made their way out to the surface, the Indyfans met up with the man who inspired their name. They were hiding behind a tent, one among many that were in the encampment.

    "Harrison!" sighed Indiana Jayne.

"Why do you keep calling me that?" asked Henry Jones, Jr. He then glanced at her fedora. "Nice hat."

    "Thanks," Indiana Jayne cooed.

Indyfan Short Round pointed to the 5-ton truck several yards from them. "There he is, waving that the truck's ready!"

The rest of the group glanced over to the truck. As Indyfan Short Round had said, there was a small Asian boy wearing a 1930's era New York Yankees baseball cap, waving discreetly from the cab of the truck.

"It's now or never," announced Indiana Jones, as he dashed off toward the truck.

"Let's go, people!" Deirdre said. The Indyfans then made their dash.

Indyfan Short Round joined Asian Short Round in the cab of the truck. Indiana Jones and the Indyfans piled into the back.

    "Hi, Short Round."

    "Hiya, Short Round."

Indiana Jones squeezed his way into the cab of the truck, sitting between the two Short Rounds. The sound of German in the distance alerted him that the Nazis were now emptying their tents and heading for the truck.

    "Step on it, Short Round!!!"

"Okie-dokie, Doctor Jones!" the two Short Rounds said in unison. Henry shook his head and grinned as Asian Short Round turned the ignition.

The engine started. The truck jerked into motion just as the firing of bullets was heard from the pursuers.

Chapter 6 - Sudden Escape

---by Indy

"Shorty, let me drive!" Indiana Jones yelled.

"Darn," Shorty cursed as he switched seats with the real Short Round.

"Hey Indy," Asian Shorty yelled as he looked out the back of the truck.

"Yeah," Henry and Indy asked at the same time. Shorty rolled his eyes and continued talking to Jones. "I don't think those guys are very friendly!"

Short Round pointed to the two jeeps and one motor cycle that were following their truck.

    "Oh boy," Indy said.

Deirdre looked at him from the back. "What are we gonna do?"

Indiana Jones looked back at her and at everyone else. "Don't know. Think of something."

One of the jeeps began to pull up beside the truck when Michaelson smiled. "Open these crates," he ordered. "There must be something in there that can help us!"

Michaelson, Jerico, Indy, Meg and the rest began pulling open the few crates, revealing several rifles and revolvers. Immediately Indy, Indiana Jerico, Michaelson, Goodsport, and Meg picked up a gun and started firing. Henry looked back and saw them firing. He grinned a lop-sided grin and sped up. The jeeps, one with Belloq inside, began firing back. Everyone hid behind the crates as machine gun fire sprayed against the back of the truck, only putting a hand out to fire a round or two. When the soldier was forced to reload, bullets shot through his and the drivers body, sending that jeep rearing into a ditch. In the back everyone smiled, until a gunshot rang out and the windshield cracked. "That was too close," Indiana Jones mumbled to himself.

Almost immediately the gunners in Indy's truck returned fire. Just before the bullets hit the jeep, Belloq saw them ready to fire. "Shit!" he yelled, then leaped from his seat and hit the ground rolling over and over. Belloq looked up and saw the gunner start to fire as the driver was shot several times in the chest, sending the jeep out of control into a tree. Belloq picked himself up and cursed, when the motorcycle still in pursuit of Jones raced by him.

The people of the Indyfan forum saw the motorcycle gaining up to their truck, but didn't hit them in time to stop them from getting up along the driver side of the truck. Henry looked out the window, and saw the driver pull a submachine gun from his shoulder and gulped in fear. Forum Indy jumped up to the window, and pushed Indy Jones aside and shot, hitting the cyclist in the side. Indiana Jones grinned, stepped on the gas and looked at Indy. "Nice shootin' kid."

Forum Indy tipped his Indiana Jones fedora then crawled to the back. Forum Short Round looked at Indy Jones, then smiled and said, "Step on it, Indy."

Henry chuckled, then replied, "Okie-dokie, Mr. Round."

Chapter 7 - The Plot Thickens.......

---by Indiana Jayne

"Oh my friend, I was so worried!" cried Sallah as he rushed out of his house to greet Indiana Jones and the rest.

"Well, it's okay now, Sallah. These are my new friends. Without them, I wouldn't be alive right now," Indiana Jones smiled at the Forum people. They smiled back at Sallah.

"Junior? Back already?" A familiar voice was heard as a neatly dressed, aged man appeared. It was none other than Dr. Henry Jones, Senior.

"DON'T CALL HIM JUNIOR!" the Forum people shouted in unison. Dr. Jones jumped.

"Great Scott! What is this, Junior?" he asked, shocked. Indiana Jones turned to the Forum people.

"It's okay. I'll take it from here," he said and turned back to his father. "It's a long story. Can we talk it over lunch? We're all famished."

"Marion's almost done with the-" Sallah was cut off.

"Marion? Where is she?" asked Indiana Jones enthusiastically. Just then, a beautiful black-haired lady appeared.

"Right here, Indy," she said. Indiana Jones turned his gaze and smiled.

"Marion! " Indiana Jones and Marion embraced.

"Awwwww.........." the Forum people chorused. Marion pulled away from Indiana Jones and screamed. She turned to face the group and turned back to Indy.

"Who are they?" she asked. Indiana Jones sighed.

    "It's a long story."

Belloq and his men returned to their secret hideout empty-handed.

"Dang! They escaped and there's no way I can operate this , this, this thing!" exclaimed Belloq as he kicked a colorful metal box nearby. The small door on the box sprang open. One of the German soldiers stepped up.

"Er.. don't forget, sir. You also broke a nail," he said. Belloq looked at his fingers and screamed. His beautiful thumbnail was broken because of the chase. Belloq growled. Now, if looks could kill, the people around him would be dead. Even though without that angry expression on his face.

"Muahahahahahahahaha......... muahahahahahaha!" a guy laughed devilishly. He stared at his computer screen watching his little game fall right into place. The guy sighed.

"It's just so sorry to see my goody-two-shoes twin brother and his dork patrol struggling to find the truth. When they're never going to! Hahahahahahaha!" the guy laughed again.

"After all, I am the great Spoilsport! Muahahahahahahaha..................!"

Chapter 8 - Indyfans Just Want To Have Fun

---by Indiana Jayne

Dead. The Forum members were all dead. Each and every one of them was lying in Sallah's living room, sleeping. They were so still that they looked like dead bodies, minus the occasional snoring from one or two forum members. Everyone needed a break, either from the chase or just plain confusion about how everything ended up like this. Indy and Sallah were having a drink at the dinner table. Sallah turned to the forum members lying on the floor.

"Indy, who really are these people?" asked Sallah. Indy took a sip from his whiskey.

"I don't exactly know, but they're okay," he said, and then continued, "I'm going to get the box back tonight, Sallah. I need to borrow one of your horses."

"Is the box really important, Indy? I'd hate to see you risking your life again," said a worried Sallah.

"Or do you hate to see me risking one of your horses again?" Indy gave his famous half-smile.

Sallah looked at Indy. "Just make sure you bring it back in one piece."

Indy laughed at Sallah's reply. He then took another sip.

"And in return, can you make sure those kids don't get into any trouble?" asked Indy.

"I'll make sure they never leave the house, my friend," Sallah promised, "but how do you know that Belloq will still be around? He could leave with the box even before you get there."

"Trust me. He'll be staying. I don't know why, but Belloq actually needs these 'future' kids because they're the only ones who know how to operate the box. I don't even know what's so special about it. All I know is that it had better not fall into his or the Nazis' hands. God knows what they'll do with it."

"Indy, Indy! I come too?" asked an eager Short Round. Indy and Sallah turned to Short Round, unaware that he was there.

"If he can go, I don't see why I can't!" said Indyfan Short Round, appearing from behind Asian Short Round. Indy looked at both of them. Sallah smiled and walked outside, leaving Indy to deal with the two excited boys.

"Ni men liang ge siao peng yo bu ke yi qu. Tai hwei sien. Wo yi ge ren qu,," replied Indy in Chinese. Then, he joined Sallah outside in the stables.

Indyfan Short Round looked at the cute Chinese boy standing next to him with a puzzled look on his face.

"What did he say?" Indyfan Short Round asked. Asian Short Round flashed a disappointed look.

"Indy says," Asian Short Round paused, then continued, "we can't go. Too dangerous, he go alone."

Do you think it's easy being his twin? Always being compared by others. Sure! Everybody here gets compared too, but it's just not fair. He's the smarter twin, the better twin, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Don't I deserve some credit? Spoilsport thought bitterly and pushed himself away from the computer on his swivel chair. For a few minutes, he just sat there staring at nothing, just thinking about his other half. Goodsport was good. He was bad. Everybody there was bad. He blinked once… twice… thrice… and soon realized that there were tears in his eyes.

Why was I born into this upside-down world? Why was I made cold? Why? Spoilsport sobbed with his face buried in his hands. After a while, he looked up and picked up the pocket-sized mirror lying on the floor. He looked at himself. His eyes were bloodshot and swollen. He had spent the last few days trying to hack into the other world. He hadn't slept, but his anger kept him strong. When he had finally succeeded, he hacked into the fantasy world. He had done so much. Why feel sorry for himself? He should be proud. His devious plan was going smoothly so far.

Spoilsport wiped away his tears. There was a smile forming on his lips. He reached for his cell phone and dialed a number. He only had to wait until the end of the first ring. He knew his friend was waiting for the call.

"The Violinist here. Spoilsport?" answered the other side of the line.

"Yeah, it's me. Get your butt over here, Violinist. Get the rest, too. I have just transported all of their twins to the fantasy world," Spoilsport replied.

Deirdre woke up to find that half of the forum was still asleep. Where was the other half? She got up to her feet and realized that it was already dark. Just then, she spotted Sallah.

"Hey, Sallah! Where are the rest?" she asked.

"They're upstairs in Indy's room admiring his clothes for some strange reason," answered Sallah. Deirdre laughed. Indy pants were almost extinct back where all of them came from. She climbed up the spiral staircase and headed for Indy's room, which was the first bedroom on the left. Suddenly, a scream was heard from the room. Deirdre rushed to the door and opened it. She gasped.
