: Chapter 1 "Hot Pursuit" written by Short Round
: India- Febuary 2, 1939
: Indiana Jones dodged spears, arrows and axes as he made his way through the forest clutching the ancient Pomojema Kaibur Crystal! Supposedly the crystal came as a meteor to Earth a few thousand years ago, and it was not like any crystal he had felt or seen before. It was a pink glowing crystal which looked similar to a smaller and wider tooth pick, and it measured three quarter's of a foot, and in the middle of it were markings all around the middle that looked like a cross between Asian writing and Sanskrit. Both sharp points at the end were apparently man made. The meteor supposedly broke in two and one part was somewhere else probably half way across the earth or somewhere else, but according to legend it was the Pomojema God's that broke them in two, even though the crystal couldn't get a scratch from no material of this Earth. Not far behind him he heard the sound of something sharp embedding itself within human flesh, a groan, then the sound of a limp dead body as one of his guides became a pin cushion for spears, arrows, and axes. Indy ducked for branches and jumped over the low ones, listening as the spears, arrows, and axes bit into them. Indy heard more groans and the sound of spears and arrows stick through flesh and bone as a barrage of spears and arrows, and even the less flying axes surrounded the last of his guides. Indy slipped as he neared a hill, slowing him down as he started to lose the green and skinny alien like natives, obviously not of this planet. Indy bumped into a fallen tree branch slowing him down more, then to get up and jump over it as the "natives" projectiles stuck into it. Indy then took out his Webley, and using the fallen branch as a shield, he started firing at his pursuers rapidly, scaring some off, and with their bodies being so slender, some of the bullets luckily went through and shot off one or two more targets. And just as most of them started hiding behind branches, running away, or finding cover Indy ran out of ammo and the pursuit began again, giving Indy more of a head start. Suddenly an arrow went right past his left ear. He was used to being shot at with any projectile, and having them go close and past him nearly nipping him, but the trouble was: This one came from ahead of him! Suddenly half the amount of so-called natives that were behind him, were in front of him! Indy stopped in his tracks, sliding and turned right away as a barrage of arrows, axes, and spears shot at him in big clusters. To his advantage some of the projectiles stuck into the pursuers from behind. He heard more screams and shouts, and the nasty sound as flesh got pinned by sharp projectiles.

: Nearby an amphibian plane rested halfway in the middle of a wide river. A little kid, at least at the age of 12 to 14 sat on the wing of the small aircraft with a hardcover book in his hand. The kid was a little shorter and younger looking than his age. A middle aged man lied on a pontoon. He had a sloppy goatee, and rustled hair, and for his age he was pretty muscular, but not a body building type. He was almost dozing off when he heard yells and commotion coming from the forest. The little kid put down his book to reveal an Asian boy wearing a beat up New York Yankees base ball cap. He stood up and stared at the forest. He had a perfect view of the forest and a slightly perfect view of the natives chasing Indy, wielding projectiles! The pilot on the pontoon stood up and made his way to the wing. It was hard to see so he went to the top of the plane.
: "OH NO!" the pilot said, wide eyed. The pilot, mostly known as Harry Lang, was a good friend of Indy and Short Round.
: "What is it?" The Asian boy known mostly as Short Round asked.
: "trouble! And heading this way!" the Harry pointed.

: More projectiles then before shot passed Indy, who was now beginning to lazily trip over his steps from exhaustion when suddenly a dart whizzed past his thigh, slitting the skin!
: "AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!" Indy groaned. Being pretty far away from his pursuers didn't really matter but making it to the plane with his injured leg was a problem giving the natives an advantage to catch up to him. He suddenly tripped on a vine and landed on his cut right leg! He groaned in pain as he badly bruised the area around it on a rock! He lacked at getting up while the pain was trying to pull him down. He heard the foot steps and warrior cries of the natives right behind him coming closer as he tried to haul himself up with all his effort. He nearly felt it go limp as he tried to move himself up. He was running with more of a limp then before and the natives and darts came more nearer to him as he became a slow and easy target.

: "Do you see Indy?" Short Round asked.
: "No kid," Harry worriedly said. "They had to have gotten him, he's out numbered and they are moving through the forest like a stampede of bulls!"
: The pilot looked at the cockpit of the plane and back again at the forest, and sighed as he took his choice by faith.
: "We got to get out of here, he's not going to make it!" Harry said
: "But we can't leave wi-"
: "We got to leave sonny, I'm sure he's either long dead by now or is hiding. And how am I sure? Maybe because thatís what I would be besides scared stiff, kid!" the pilot interrupted as he moved to the cabin.
: "But we got to save Indy!"
: "COME ON KID!!!" Harry said shoving Short Round in the cabin. The plane engines started to sound!

: -----

: Oh please don't leave without me! Indy thought as he was almost at the shore of the river. The propellers started to roar louder as did the warrior cries of his pursuers as they neared him. Indy shoved the Kaibur Crystal in his satchel and jumped in the river and tried moving his way the plane, now roaring way louder and starting to move! Indy tripped as water went near his gash in his leg. Indy moaned in pain as he painfully and slowly moved closer to the plane. The natives were moving nearer to the shore. Indy was getting in deeper water which was more pain full and slowing him down. Then the moment got even tenser when the natives reached the water and trying to hit their target which was easier on the count of him being more slower and not running too much to catch up with him. Darts whizzed close past him then ever! One going so close as to let him feel the breeze of it! Suddenly Indy heard the sound of rapid gunfire, and bullets spraying in the water around him! What native person here has a machine gun like that? Or a gun at all around this place! Indy thought to himself. The plane was about to take off and he was getting closer to it! As the moment got more tense he dived into the water and tried swimming under the water to the plane, not even feeling his gash and even caring since the adrenaline rush was like the fuel of a car with a horse engine! Bubbles surrounded him as projectiles whizzed through the water surrounding him. Then one native being brave, jumped into the water and started swimming after Indy as did others! Indy was as close as he could but the plane was going faster and faster! He would never catch it; but his whip could! Indy unlashed his 10ft. bullwhip and swinging it he successfully lashed it around the starboard support beam between the pontoon and the plane itself! Indy got yanked and jerked as he tried to hold onto the whip! The native started to catch up with his lightning fast speed! Indy started to drag in the water and then started to lift up as the plane was taking off. Suddenly the native lifted his head out of the water and pulled out a bow and arrow type weapon, and shot an arrow at the portside pontoon of the plane! The arrow had a rope on it and the speed that the native warrior shot the arrow at was in a way not of the strength of any human on earth. The arrow went around the support beam of the portside pontoon and latched on it, then jerked him free out of the water. Indy struggled to fight the wind and pull his body towards the pontoon. His arms ached and the wind fought his body and strength. The wind whipped at his face with ever increasing speed, and his legs limp and dangling over the wind. He tried not to move his head too far back or to the sides, fearing to crack it, or worse: snap it off his head. Suddenly his Fedora flew off! Indy was nearing the pontoon, and finally he was one foot from it, then lurched with all his might to catch the support beam! He finally got it and hauled him self to it and holding it, he started to bring his bullwhip in. With ever increasing speed, the native moved his way to the portside pontoon like climbing a regular rope going up, getting closer...
