Ok, the title can be redone, but here we go...

Prologue
October 1950
Indiana Jones had recovered the Heart of Shiva from Goa and was heading back to the States with his wife, Katherine, along with Eliot Ness and Marion Ravenwood. They had survived an ordeal at Kathmundu and Goa, which resulted in Katherine's injury of a gun shot wound. As soon as she was discharged from the hospital in Goa, they headed to the airport, with the Heart of Shiva intact. He wanted to get out of India before he or anyone else got killed.

Before he boarded the plane, he sensed he was being watched. He shook the feeling and thought From this day on, Kate or I will never come back. Who knows what the Mafia might do? He took one uneasy look and boarded the plane as a man in black watched and said,
"You will pay, Dr. Jones. You will pay."

June 1974
Indiana Jones was sitting in his office at Barnett College, going over some paperwork. At seventy-five, he was one of the forthmost authority on archeology and president of the college. He had lived through several ordeals and survived them just barely. He had close to nineteen years with his wife, before her death with cancer five years ago. He had five wonderful children with Kate -- her first two with her first husband and the three of their own -- and adored each of them. He couldn't complain about his life, he enjoyed it.
"Dad!" he heard excitedly as he snapped out of his daydream.
Indy looked up and saw his youngest child, twenty-one year old Lauren. Her brown hair was tied back, her dark blue eyes sparkled, and she had a big grin on her face as he commented,
"You look like you won a million dollars."
"Better than that," as she tossed her books on a nearby chair, "A chance of a lifetime."
"Who is he?" teasing her.
"It's not a guy," exasperated, "I got it, Dad. I actually was chosen!"
"Got what?" his brow furrowed.
"The summer expedition! The one run by the archeology department."
"That's great, sweetheart," as he hugged her.
Lauren was exactly like Indy with archeology. She loved it since she had gotten her first taste of it when she was sixteen. Despite his initial misgivings, he knew she loved it and wanted to pursue it. He was proud of her as he asked,
"So who's going?"
"Tom is heading it," mentioning the assistant chair of the department. Tom Raleigh was one of the brightest archeologists he ever met and he was dating Lauren on and off over the years.
"Who else?"
"A couple of other students. Jacks was invited too."
Jacks was also known as Jacqueline Shannon, Jack's daughter, and Lauren's best friend. They were inseparable since they were little when the Joneses invited Jack and Jacks to live with them when Katrina died, almost like sisters.
"Jacks not interested in archeology," Indy stated.
"She aced the final and she was asked to go," Lauren said excitedly, "We leave next week."
"Where's the expedition?"
"In India. A place called Kathmundu."
Indy's smile dropped, his blood ran cold at the mention of Kathmundu, staring at his daughter with fear in his eyes.

Ok, who wants the next chapter?
