Come on, big bro!! I'm here! and so is Deirdre and riggs! How can you say that we're hardly here!! anyway, nobody is perfect and can write stories that truly touch everybody who reads it.

anyway, face the fact. you can only get the real Indy feel from movies. The fan fics we create are meant to express how we feel about Indy and how we look up to him so much. It doesn't matter if we suck in writing, it's what that drives us to write those stories about our hero, Indiana Jones. You said that the stories were good right? that shows how hard we try to give life to our hero and his adventures. Besides, fan fic is created by us, the fans. Nothing can replace that. Movies don't express how we feel. It's beautiful that we actually take the trouble to attempt to write one. It's only a bonus if it's a good fan fic, otherwise, it's still a great effort from a fan.

I know I'm not very influential here and I know that I'm not a good motivational talker but that's just what I think. Nobody can stop you if you want to quit but we'd like it better if you'd stay.

First of all I love some of the fanfics... and I think almost everyone writing them (whether I like them or not) is a pretty good writer. Now that I have that straight... let me clear some things up:

I realy enjoyed writing/reading/participating in all the fun that went on at this forum durring the Tessa, Golden Spider, Indyfan, and other stories. But currently this forum seems nearly completely dead, with only enough of a trickle of life to allow anyone to even discern the fact that it IS alive. Thus I am only looking for new outlets for my creative writing; and other sources of inspiration, fed by the writing of others.

This will always be my online writing home, but I am allowed to visit other fiction forums aren't I? Or is this a forum that is exclusive in and to itself? =)

Because I like this group of writers so much and wish we had a place to write about things non-Indy (so we can take stories any direction we wish), I have looked into creating a forum very much like this one, but on webspace that I have access to so that we aren't limited to the subject of Indy. Don't get me wrong I love this place and thank Micah for it, but was just hoping an alternate might help keep things moving. If I do get this forum created I would like to make it into something more than just a forum with dossiers on everyone (something I had started before as a supplement to this forum but never finished).

I hope this clears it up, that I am not leaving this forum, and I realy like this forum, just was looking for alternates.

If I do get this new online community (based around the above mentioned forum) would you guys participate in some stories?
