It was started by a rapscallion of a member Briede (we all love him nevertheless!). Yes the story does frankly blow (except for Briede's chapter 4.5) but we don't want any outsiders crashing the party. This is a tightly-knit group and having some strange people come in and write chapters on people and topic that they hardly know anything about isn't going to help.

The NiM rebellion was started by followers of Aragorn, namely bud-arc, graml and Nick. There's many rogue sections of the NIM following and it is comprised of people moslty ticked off at the stiff atmosphere of the Indyfan conservative establishment. There's too many NIM forums to be listed but it is a phenomenon that has grown out of Aragorn's humble beginnings. He was the Karl Marx of nim. He started a silent protesting against stiff conversation. Humor was the principal weapon and it was used effectively. Unfortunately, some of the tighter members of Indyfan complained against this, and Micah deleted en masse many NIM posts. Because of this swift act, renegade forums were made and are still kickin'! They are alot more fun than any of these dry forums (no offense, but there's alot more breathing room in the Great NiM Rebellion) and show no signs of stopping!

: gee, you leave for a little bit and NIM's get way out of hand! What's this NIM
: rebellion? Did Aragon start it? Or was it his beloved followers. Please fill me in. This is
: just too strange.
