: Just speaking for my own efforts, it's been disappointing to see absolutely no response, except for Tessa's kind remark, to any effort currently being made. Why even bother? I'll continue the "Black Book" for my own personal enjoyment, but it seems that there is a closed "clique" over at this area of the forum that refuses to recognize the work of new writers TO this forum. That's why it died, as "regulars" either ran out of time for one reason or another, or had to move on, they have not been replaced by fresh blood because of the apparent disinterest of the original gathered group of writers. I have dabbled in writing for years myself, and was only inspired to even share my efforts from reading the work of the folks over here. All I received was thundering silence. Who needs that?
