I am published in a few fan fiction magazines, mostly Star Trek forum, however no pay involved. My girlfriend, however has actually been published, professionally, mostly on civil war topics. She assists and edits my writing. And we've both been on the editorial staff for the official Star Trek fan club, "Star Fleet International" for their annual fanzine. Boy could I give you some examples of some bad writing from that! Just a thought for your action scene writing. If you're reasonable physically fit (don't have to be a gold medal gymnist), get a couple of friends together a choreograph in slow motion your fight scenes and the like. See what looks reasonable AND exciting, and trying writing on those variations. Definately remember continuity! I can't stress that enough. A thought on Indy's hands tied behind his back. After the intial kick to the guard's face, Indy brings his legs up tight to his chest, forming a tight ball. At this point, provided his hands weren't too tightly tied, he could probably slip them under his rear and past his legs. Now, they're are still tied, but they are in front, where he is capable of defending himself more readily, and also able to hold a hundgun. He could always work on freeing himself as he is running down the hall. For an example of this, check out "Payback" with Mel Gibson.
