The Belize Adventure Part VII

Chapter 7
Tessa was working hard on her book, yawning and glancing at the clock. Three in the morning. I need to get some sleep.
She was having bouts of insomnia, only being able to sleep for a few hours and then up again. She tried sleeping pills, relaxing techniques, but nothing that worked. Glancing over to her husband, snoring as usual, she groaned and clicked on the icon to connect to the Internet.
After checking her email, she wandered over to the Indyfan Fan Fiction site. In surprise she saw a post addressed to her from “Annie Jones”.
Must be a new person to the forum, she thought as she clicked to the message.
“Tessa,” the message started, “My name is Annie and Ben, friend of Indy told me about your stories about Lauren Jones. I hope you can help me.
My Mom is actually Lauren Jones, with the professional name of Alexandra Stephens.
And my grandfather is Indiana Jones.”
Someone’s been drinking and typing at the same time, was Tessa’s first thought, as she continued to read,
“My Mom was working on the recent looting in Belize and is in serious trouble. I need to know background information on my mother that you have written. I was told she’s a lot like my grandfather was, with my grandmother’s spark as well. Can you help me?”
Tessa frowned, But those stories were fictional, weren’t they? Most of the stories she wrote was from a certain point of view that no one touched. Alexandra Stephens was a real character from the news. And she does have most of Indiana Jones’s mannerisms, realizing.
She replied to the message to contact her directly by email if possible and she would disclose the information. She also sent a message to Ben, if he knew of Annie’s whereabouts. Tessa sat back in disbelief and shut off the computer. Going downstairs, she lifted the loveseat and took out the binder she had of all the stories she written. I hope, thinking to herself, I can help her.
