Since you didn't specifically say 'IJ' books, here are my favorites, in no particular order:

The IJ books
The Sandman by Neil Gaiman
The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery
Love Story by Erich Segal
The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas
The Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien
Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach
The Complete Poetry of Edgar Allan Poe
Demons Don't Dream by Piers Anthony
Doctors by Erich Segal
The Call of the Wild by Jack London
Alice's Adventure in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

There are some others, but I think this would give you an idea of what kinds I would like to read.

By the way, can anyone tell me if Fyodor Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment is any good?

Till then.
