The only thing wrong with that lost brother thing is that, I have a feeling that if Indy did have a long lost brother, they'd make him evil. Now that may be great to some of you, but having an evil brother is so old. I think it would be cool if Indy found out his brother was with Marion or something and over the course of the movie, Marion picks Indy. I'm a hopeless romantic so whoever reads this, just remember that I don't think straight when I'm romantic.
