Nylon whips are great for working in wet conditions, in fact they work better when they are soaking wet. Other that that I would not recommend them as a first whip, especially if your trying to learn with it. They are stiffer than a leather whip and can be more difficult to crack. Their accuracy is also questionable, on a plus note though they are extremely durable. In my own opinion you better off going with one of Marks American style latigo bullwhips for about the same price as the nylon ones. In all honesty though if your serious about whip cracking, you will find it easier to learn with a high quality whip.
