I really didn't answer your questions in that last post, sorry!
My advice would be order the size you normally would, but either hang dry the shirt or tumble on very low heat. As for modifying the shirt to look more like Indy's, there is a button on each sleeve to attach the cuffs if you roll them up, but I believe with a stitch remover these can be sucessfully taken off. Obviously the front doesn't have the "ribbing" down each side, but if you have access to a tailor or seamstress, extra material (albeit expensive) from another shirt can be used to replicate the look.
I think I'll leave my two shirts alone though, they look enough like Indy's in design and colour to satisfy me.
If you're curious about the colour of the shirt, look at the 12" Indy figure's shirt (see the toy reference page if you don't own one) and the colour is extremely close. Hope that answers some of your questions Kay!
