: I think a few of these Indy Find Your Fates, the ones by R.L. Stine (Curse of Horror Island and a few more) were recently rereleased in paperback with new covers and no mention of Indy anywhere on front. They are now billed as children's horror stories, cashing in on the Goosebumps craze. There is just a small picture of Indy on the back cover. I heard this, possibly on this message board a while ago, but I've never been able to find any of them. Has anyone else? How many were reissued?
: Brisco

The four that were re-issued were the four written by R.L. Stine,
and were re-issued to cheaply cash in on the man's present success. It
makes me sick. But, in answer to your question they were:

Indiana Jones and the Giants of the Silver Tower
Indiana Jones and the Cult of the Mummy's Crypt
Indiana Jones and the Ape Slaves of Howling Island
Indiana Jones and the Curse of Horror Island

I should know, because I had to buy the re-issued Howling Island,
as I never bought the original. My friend, Eric Niel, let me borrow his
original copy when we lived in Germany. I had all the rest, but not
that one. Then, about seven years ago, when we lived in Ft. Worth, our
family was at Taylor's Book store, and they had ONE copy of the original
Ape Slaves of Howling Island for a dollar. "Mom, can I please get this?"
"No Dale, maybe some other time." "Come on mom, it's only a dollar!"
As you can probably tell, I never got it. Damn!!! So, I had to but a cheap
new copy with sucky cover art, until I can track down a used one in a
half-off bookstore.
