Though when we first see them seated at the table on the blimp, the first thing we hear Henry Sr. say is, "Sharing your adventures is an interesting experience."

To which Indy says, of course, "That's not all we shared, Dad, it's discraceful..."

Henry Sr. could be referring to going on the adventure with his son, but then again, who knows what they'd been talking about before the camera came to them? Indy could have told him then (though still without much time...)
