I'm sure everyone will be upset by this, but I never really liked the Max McCoy novels. I just finished "Secret of the Sphinx" and it was terrible. The staff that Moses used to part the Red Sea and turn the Nile into a River of Blood has been turned into the world's first magic wand? Come on! Anyway, I'd say the best of the books is probably MacGreggor's "...Dance of the Giants" or "...the Seven Veils." Diedre Campbell was a great character. I remember a great stunt sequence involving cable cars in "...Dance of the Giants." Great stuff.

MacGreggor's Indy was an interesting blend of the "young" Indy and Ford's classic version. McCoy's best would have to be "... the Philosopher's Stone"
