: I would have to go with Belloq as well. He was the most like Jones, but a "shadowy reflection". One thing I never did get though...why did the Germans mispronounce him as Bellosh? This might make sense if his name was spelled Bellach or Belloch but not Belloq.

Maybe they couldn't say the Q and changed it into SH?
