I think Dale covered your question in full. He is right, while these whips should be able to hold the weight of an average adult, its not recommended as it can mess up the whips taper and possibly break some of the plaited strands. (FYI Some of the rope core or leather core bullwhips are also strong enough) In any case though be careful!
