I believe your right- I think Australia uses the PAL format, which is different than the NTSC used in the US and would have to be converted. Their are companies that provide this service, but it wouldn't be worth it...you could just buy the Laserdisc (If you had a player!) Right now laserdisc is the only way too see widescreen Indy at home, unless someone is making bootlegs, but I hope those DVDs are coming soon...I can't wait!
