Deirdre, I thought you might find it interesting that Seven Veils
was the first ever Indy novel that I purchased (way back in 94')
and has been my favorite ever since. I have read it well over twenty
times, and is my all-time favorite book (right up there with Jurassic
Park) I even mailed my well-worn copy to Rob MacGregor to get autographed.
I received it back one week later with a nice letter from Mr. MacGregor,
and the inside title page read: To Dale Dassel, who knows the stories
well. -Rob MacGregor.
When I finished Secret of the Sphinx, I wrote Rob MacGregor a
nice letter to suggest that he could write some more books because
Indy is now currently without a writer. I pitched a few ideas for
stories and discussed a 'Shadows of the Empire'-type Indy novel
which neatly joins two of the movies together. I am currently
awaiting a reply. I will let everyone know what he says.
