Judging by what others have said and by the experiences of me and one of my "Indyfan" friends, there is no way to say what makes a good or bad Indy novel. I've yet to read a truly great one, but then again, I've only read two so far! My best advice to you would be to pick one that seems interesting to you and give it a shot. You're the best judge of what you like, and of what you consider to be a "good" Indy adventure. It seems to all come down to personal taste, which nobody can decide for you. Good luck!
