I agree the hiking offers some of the most incredible spots in the world. I don't think I've been to Wanganui though,
however most of my trekking has been in the North Island.
Just out of curiosity, have you seen any of the St. Pierrre's fish/produce shops in N.Z., my cousins own all of those. Just curious. Best.
