You folks may or may not know this already but the Harrison Ford sequence was included in the supplementary footage of the ET limited edition laserdisc set. The scene wasn't cut back into the film. It's very interesting- Elliot's principal (Ford) is lecturing him about drugs after his crack up during the freeing the slave-frogs scene. You basically see him in silhouette for the whole thing or from behind.
