Spielberg, or however you spell it, said that he stapled. It was on the AE biography and I taped that one too. It sort of does look like he's in actual pain when he's doing that, but you can't really tell. Wouldn't there be some scars from that? Personally I think that for the good of the movie, Harrison Ford would do just about anything, including staple his hat to his head.
