: So here's what I've got...
: I was fishing through my brother's book case and I found dusty copies of The Silmarillion, The Two Towers, and The Fellowship of the Rings. Parts one and two I see of Lord of the Rings, and the epic history of the elves in lord of the rings. So what do i read first? Part one or the Silmarillion? I don't know where part three is.

If I were you, I'd read "Fellowship of the Ring" first. Move from part one to part two, and then find a copy of part three, which is entitled "The Return of the King".

Even though "The Silmarillion" takes place (mostly) before "The Lord of the Rings", wait to read it until after you've finished with the trilogy... trust me, LFM: that's the way it should be read. That's the way I moved through them at least.

Also, check out "The Hobbit". While it's story isn't as serious, it's events set up the stage for "The Lord of the Rings".

Have fun! I know I did...
