Indy comes in through the window of the castle in LC. His dad knocks him over the head with the vase.

Jones Sr.: Junior?
Indy: Yes sir!
Jones Sr.: It is you Junior!!
Indy: Don't call me that,Please.
Jones Sr.: Well what are you doing here?
Indy: I came to get you, what do you thi...
(Indy pulls his dad back against the wall at the sound of voices, and looks out the window. Jones sr. looks down at the broken vase in his hands. He has a bewildered look on his face as he walks over to the desk lamp)
Jones sr.: (mumbling) Late 14th century ming dynasty...Oh it breaks the heart.
Indy: And the head, you hit me, dad.
Jones sr.: I'll never forgive myself.
Indy: Don't worry, I'm fine (he says smiling, looking so happy that his dad feels bad for what he did)
Jones Sr.: Thank God...(pointing to the vase) It's fake! See, you can tell by the cross sections!
(he throws it and it crumble making a really loud noise)
Indy: No!...Dad get your stuff we're getting out of here.
