Well, I'm sitting here writing this wearing my new Aldens, and I have to say they're about the nicest shoes I've ever owned, but lordy for the price they better be. I have no problem with the insert, as I know that with use that will dull to being almost unnoticable. All in all, a very comfortable pair of shoes, and well worth the price. I'm satisfied. Regards.
