Well I'm sorry to tell you that Bogota is reckoned to be the most dangerous city in the World. Even the police officers are Scumbags.
The Politicans are corrupt and many are Drug Barons! Kids aged as young as six carry guns. After the World Cup in 1994, a player on the Columbian Team was assinated in Bogota for bringing the team out of the Tournament.
Be VERY careful. My Father was there about eight years ago and did'nt have anything good to say about it. I'm surprised that travel agents had a deal for you in regards to this place, most don't.
Hope I havn't turned you off travelling, but be aware.
