: Ok, tell me if I'm weird...

: I think the songs from the 20s and 30s are great and my favourite singer is Al Bowlly.

: Is this strange at all or will anyone else own up?

: Brian

: PS - I'm not old enough to actually remember these songs. Honest!

: PPS - What actually started my interest in them was the track "One More Kiss, Dear" from Fordy's other movie BladeRunner...

: PPS - One of my fave songs of Al Bowlly is "Hang Out The Stars In Indiana"... nice tune!

Heck yes, I'll own up to this. Back in my "youth" I used to play string bass in a big band and all we played was Miller, Basie, etc. My daughters, both in their late teens, can be caught playing Goodman all the time, along with all their current collection of latest hits, so no, jazz and big band music has returned with a vengence. Kinda neat to see this great music catching on again, even in it's form. Swing and jazz is just plain fun music to play or listen to, regardless of age. Regards. Michaelson
