With the Hohlbein novels it's the same: I usually see one or two of them in bookstores. It must be four or five years since I saw the complete series in stock in a store.
Two more thoughts:
- Visit some stores that sell games for adults and scifi/fantasy stuff. They often have special book sections.
- You may want to visit my webpages (link below). There you can find complete scans from all Hohlbein books (front, side, back). It might help you to know how the books look like.
