Since when does the acting ability of the actor/actress have ANYTHING to do w/ wether or not they win an oscar?
If you want to know what film is going to when the best picture award these days, all you have to do is pick the film that you would NEVER go see in the theater. The academy is made up of a bunch of old has-beens w/ sphincters so tight that all you have to do is MENTION some classical work of a hundred years ago or so to win that loser competition.
The real winners are those chosen by you and I in the people's choice awards.
Stop quoting Dennis Miller...he is a walking contradiction Regards,
