: See that's what made me so mad this morning when I came to the forum. I turned it off because it was already 10:30 and I needed to get to sleep, which i didn't end up doing until about 12. I could've seen everything that mattered right at the end there and I missed it. Had I known that Harrison was going to present I wouldn't have gone to sleep. So then I figured they'd having the whole presentation for best picture on Good Morning America but I only saw a glimpse of him looking so fine. A glimpse was ok because it still set me off screaming about how he's so cool and good looking, but I would've rather seen the whole thing. I was actually screaming.

I had to work that night so being the movie buff I am I taped the show.
I got to fast forward through all the songs and that terrible tap dance
routine and all the awards that I don't really care about. And best of
all whenever they showed the faces of all the actors nominated I would
rewind and see which actors were able to hide their emotions about losing.
My pick for Best Actor, Nick Nolte, has perfected the stone face, I think
he was pissed that he lost ;) But as for the show, it was the best one
I can remember. Spielberg got an award and he presented a tribute to Stanley
Kubrick which was great because those two are my favorite directors. Norman
Jewison got a special award. The Kazan controversy certainly made things
interesting. I couldn't help but notice how reserved Spielberg's clapping
was. I think that was a lot more classy than not applauding at all. And
that Italian guy certainly put some life into the show. And the best was
last, Harrison Ford, arguably the century's biggest movie star, presented
the last Best Picture award of the century. He looked pretty good but buy
was his hair bad! Almost as bad as the tap dancers. I think that next year
I will tape the show again, the fast forward button really makes the
difference!

Um so to make this an Indy topic anyone know what movie Raiders of Lost
Ark lost to for Best Picture?
