We've discussed this here before, but if Spielberg wouldn't and Lucas wouldn't, I would want Robert Zemeckis, because to me he is the closest to Spielberg stlye-wise and he also worked with him. I wouldn't want anyone else who wasn't familiar with SS or Indiana Jones to come in and make Indy into their own character. We all sat by and watched Martin Caidin destroy Indiana Jones, let's not tempt any new directors to do the same.
