A letterboxed VHS version of The Indiana Jones Trilogy has never been released in the U.S. However, widescreen video sets are available in Australia and England. Buying from outside the U.S. won't work either. Unfortunately, U.S. video technology is not compatible with the systems used in these countries. You can't play movies or tapes from different formats unless you have a special adapter VCR. Currently, the only way to have a letterboxed set in the U.S. is on Laserdisc.
