: : So, so far I'm guessing I should go with the MacGregor books. Thanks guys!

: LFM, I actually preferred the Max McCoy books over MacGregor's, and they were my truest introduction to the novels. They were the ones that really got me interested in the series. I had read both MacGregor's "Genesis Deluge" and "Unicorn's Legacy" a year before I picked up my all-time favorite of the novels, McCoy's "Philosopher's Stone", and it was "Philosopher's Stone" that enticed me to go on through the rest of McCoy's before backtracking to MacGregor's. It really doesn't matter how you read them, but it's what I did.

: I too enjoyed McCoy's just a little better than MacGregor's but both authors were far better than Caiden. His stories were aviation novels with Indy as a prop (no pun intended) instead of the other way around. That guy's writing sucked hard. The cool thing about McCoy and MacGregor is that you can sort of mix their books together by timeline, although not perfectly. -MP
