Not a bad thought, but Lucas already did it with the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (the short lived series). Now if the books were used to make the movies, that's a different matter or better yet what happens next in Indy's life. You guys remember the YIJC? It showed his children and grandchildren. Aren't you curious what kind of woman he married?
