: Down at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, one of the park areas is known as "Pleasure Island". It's kind of a place for adults. It's full of differently themed clubs and every night is "Mardi Gras" until about two in the morning. Basically you drink your *** off and visit each different club. There's a comedy club, country and western, 70's dance, techno, a jazz club, and my favorite - the Adventurer's Club. It's styled like a British adventurer's club from the 1920s or 1930s. They place is covered with trophy's and artifacts from safaris, wars, and adventures and there is an animatronic British Sergeant Major who tells jokes and gets the crowd to sing along with bar songs. There are characters dressed up from the 30's like the "playboy", the "butler", an "eccentric scientist", a "flapper" girl, etc. They roam through the crowd telling jokes. Basically you have this going on until the real show starts in the drawing room where they act out a contest on stage to see who will be allowed as a member of the club. It's good comedy and the place really does transport you back to a different time. Anybody been there lately? -MP

Sounds cool! I'd like to visit. It sounds sort of like the Jekyll & Hyde club for Adventurers and Mad Scientists in Greenwich Village, NYC. (NOT the cheezed up one near Central Park)
